As usual I write the blog post for a release way too late. In this case its solid 9 Months but well life is going fast.
I released my Myriad EP in March 2024 around that time where I have been at Ultra Miami 2024 and its my most successful EP so far especially Fabric 2.0 which turned out to be a great success on Soundcloud with 34K plays so far what surprised me as you can see because the EP is called Myriad not Fabric lol
I wrote Myriad before going to Vegas for the first time and I was listening to it all the time in Vegas when I had a free minute because I was so pleased with myself on this one how it turned out. Fabric was scheduled as a release about 1-2 years ago but it didn’t make it due to technical issues with Ableton or whatever where I had a delay issue which made working on it pretty shitty and also after listening to the final version I did not like it.
However for Fabric I always had the impression that the base idea, which I call the skeleton, of the track was pretty solid and I always thought the lead was kinda shitty but Iam usually reluctant when it comes to deleting individual tracks in a project as I “could use it anytime later”.
In this case I said fuck it and just deleted the lead and started a new lead idea which then turned out pretty good and also added a background noise for the intro and then I was finally satisfied with it.
Mixing and Mastering took quite a while but Im very proud of all 3 tracks!
